HAMA Supporter
Dear Prospective Supporter,
You were suggested by a member of the Hospitality Asset Managers Association (HAMA), a nonprofit, Section 501(c)(6) tax exempt association of hospitality asset managers representing approximately 3,200 hotels with more than 760,000 rooms, to potentially join our sponsorship program. Our members come from prominent hotel ownership groups, ranging from the largest publicly traded lodging real estate investment trusts (REITs) to internationally recognized private equity firms. This supporter opportunity entails joining an exclusive listing of aligned hotel business partners for our membership. The resource will be used to connect our members with experts to assist them in adding value to the hotels they asset manage.
The $4,000 listing will be hosted on the HAMA website accessed by our members for one full year with no requirement to renew. These members control and direct the capital and operating spend of the hotels owned by their respective organizations. Your listing will be under a specific category of services your company provides and include your contact information so that our members can interact with you directly to obtain more information.
Our organization believes that the new opportunity is an exciting way for our members to leverage the experience of their peers and gain exposure to new business relationships. We look forward to receiving your application, which can be completed at http://www.hamagroup.org/. All applications will be treated in a confidential manner and will be reviewed and responded to within 90 days. HAMA has sole discretion to approve or deny an application. If approved, payment of the $4,000 supporter fee must be paid to HAMA in full prior to being added to the supporter listing.
You acknowledge that approval of your listing by HAMA does not constitute a guarantee, warranty, or endorsement by HAMA of your services. Further, HAMA makes no recommendations, suggestions, or exhortations regarding the conduct of its members or others in areas or activities addressed by the supporter listing.
Further neither HAMA nor its officers, directors, members, employees, or agents shall have any liability for any loss, damage, claim, or expense arising out of or in connection with your participation in the supporter program. All such liabilities, including special, indirect, or consequential damages, are expressly disclaimed. You specifically undertake to indemnify and hold HAMA harmless from any loss or damage (or claim thereof), including reasonable attorneys’ fees resulting from such participation; provided such loss or damage was not caused solely byHAMA’s gross negligence or willful act.
Further, HAMA conducts its supporter program in compliance with all applicable laws, including antitrust laws, and the guidance provided by the United States Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission. All companies and individuals should conduct their activities based on independent business judgment.
HAMA reserves the right to modify or discontinue its supporter program at any time. You agree that HAMA shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the program.
